HOLA! My name is Geo Portugal, I am a Mexican artist and professional photographer currently living in Salt Lake City, Utah. I grew up sharing my time between Mexico City and Florida, which influenced my artistic style. My Photographic vision is inspired by the practice of presence. I look for the moments which act as a portal to the beauty nature holds. I am a believer that these magical portals can be found in serendipitous moments held within a reflection, hidden beneath a shadow, popping with color, and dancing in patterns. I am attracted to the magic that nature and color bring into my life, which allows me to creatively exchange energy with my subject.
